Many native American arrowheads have been found on the land and you can almost feel the ancient spirits of the ancestors residing there still today.

Reviews for this vacation house rental in Napa, California

Exceptional family retreat!

Review Submitted: December 21, 2010 Date of Stay: November 2010 Napa Big Sky Ranch is an exceptional location for a family get away! We had 8 adults, a baby and two dogs and there was plenty of room for every one. The house is spacious and filled with comfortable beds, lovely books and great family games. The kitchen is spacious and the living room is great for hanging out. The wrap around deck is a great place to relax and watch the sunset. The grounds are perfect for a family campfire (with s'mores, of course!) and there are small trails right from the property. I highly recommend the location. My family had an amazing time!! Room to Move: Inside and Out

Review Submitted: November 27, 2010 Date of Stay: November 2010 This was an 8 – 10 person girls’ getaway and the owner/staff made the experience memorable for everyone from reservation to checkout. The property description was accurate and gave the group an opportunity to settle into a clean property with room to spread out. The property was extremely private which provided a nice outdoor feel. Perhaps one could recommend a boys’ getaway with a nice outdoor fire pit. J-Boy Henderson

Great place for Napa vacation

Review Submitted: November 9, 2010 Date of Stay: November 2010 We've stayed 3 nights (5 couples) and enjoyed well maintained house and beautiful nature around the house. Especially the large fire pit for camp fire every night. Friendly deers are wandering in the large property. Nicely prepared trail in the property. Very kind and helpful manager. We want to come back again soon.

Perfect Vacation Spot

Review Submitted: November 8, 2010 Date of Stay: October 2010 My friends and I rented this property for a long weekend visit to Napa and Sonoma. The house was the perfect size (we had 7 people - 2 couples and 3 singles), but you could easily fit 4 couples. This was a great home base, perfect to be able to go out and tour wineries all day and go home for a great barbeque and campfire, complete with smores! We cooked breakfast every morning, and were able to prepare lunches, so our overall trip cost was less because we didn't need to eat every meal out. It was close to plenty of stores, and restaurants for the nights we did go out to dinner. The house was very comfortable, had great TV reception to catch football games and the world series, wifi - so we could get on the net, and plenty of deer to come visit us in the morning across the open field. I would definitely go back. Faith Palmyra, NJ

In Napa for wedding

Review Submitted: October 5, 2010 Date of Stay: September 2010 We were in Napa to attend my Nephew's wedding in town. A total of 10 people stayed at house and the accomodations were perfect. We didn't need for anything. We are outdoors kind of people and loved the hiking trails and surrounding landscape. The kids were also thrilled there was satellite tv and a dvd player for watching movies at night. We enjoyed the short drive into town...although, it is difficult to keep your eyes on the road due to the spectacular views driving down. The multi patio areas at the home allow you to watch sunrise and sunset, the deer come up in the evenings and morning hours to eat from the pears that have fallen from a tree and enjoy the fantastic weather. We would opt to stay on the property again without hesitation. Lisa Grapevine, TX
