Perched on the beach in Conchas Chinas, the most elite section of Puerto Vallarta, the estate, with its own private beach access, commands a truly spectacular view of Banderas Bay and the blue Pacific.

Villa Verano is Vallarta's largest beachfront estate within 5 minutes walking distance to downtown. Surrounded by massive ivy covered walls, the compound is a sentinel to privacy, security and solitude. No matter where you are on the estate, there is a breathtaking view with alluring tranquility and serenity. You feel a million miles away in paradise, yet you're only two hours away from the United States.

  

 

The 17,000 square foot villa and its waterfront acre of lush tropical landscaping create an ideal setting for its eleven graciously sized bedrooms.

All are air-conditioned, with private marble baths and boast magnificent views of the bay.

Eight rooms have two queen-sized beds and three rooms have king-sized beds. The very attentive staff comprises a full-time concierge, two charming house-boys, two housekeepers, two excellent chefs and two gardeners.

Known as the "Showplace of Puerto Vallarta" Villa Verano was featured in Robin Leach's "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" where he calls the villa "pure sanctuary". The estate has been televised in over 31 foreign countries, and has played host to many celebrities and dignitaries from all over the world.

Spanning from the road to the beach, the compound offers spacious areas for fun recreation and activities. There is badminton, croquet and water sports in one of the largest pools in Vallarta.

These elegant and spacious living rooms, 35' x 55', are ideal for intimate gatherings, relaxed reading or just fun and games. There is a large selection of board games, puzzles and card sets, a stereo CD player, and a TV with a video library of over 300 of Hollywood's best feature films.

Guests say dining is one of the many delights of the villa. There are four dining venues, each with its own romance and charm. The main dining room, with its unique art is warm and intimate. The dining terrace is a magical setting with the surf splashing on the shore below. Dining under the stars gets no better. Lunch at the pool bar stimulates spicy conversation and the family table in the garden is cozy and the utmost in tropical dining.

The ten gracious size bedrooms, most with two queen size beds, all overlook the ocean. The spacious marble baths and the hand rubbed driftwood toned hardwoods are just two of the unique design statements of this grand villa.

Rates & Information

By special arrangement Villa Verano has been made available to select qualified groups. The Villa is a privately owned estate and is not open to the general public. Because the Villa accommodates only one group at a time, there is a an eight bedroom for five nights minimum. Student groups, bachelor parties, packaging general public groups, or the like are not accepted.

Spa Services

Should you wish to treat yourself to a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, yoga or Pilates instruction, these services are available without having to leave the premises. Reservations should be made prior to arrival and may be arranged through our office manager.

Reservation Policy

Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of your 50% deposit. The balance, plus a $1,000 security-phone deposit is due 60 days prior to arrival. The security deposit is refundable, providing there is no damage or long distance phone calls during the guest’s stay.

The Staff

The staff is charming, well trained, and eager to please. They consist of three housemen, two maids, two gardeners, two chefs and a laundress. Their desire is to see that the guests have a wonderful stay.  Please note that it is customary in Mexico for the staff to have half day Saturday and all day Sunday off. Therefore, special arrangements must be made in advance for Saturday evening or Sunday service, and additional charges may apply.

Food and Liquor

The menus are selected by the guests, and all the shopping is done by the staff on an “at cost” basis; there is no mark-up. An itemized statement of the grocery bill will be presented to the guests the day before departure from the Villa, at which time the bill is paid either by cash or travellers checks. [Please note: no credit cards or personal checks accepted.] The chefs are trained under American standards, and wash all fruits and vegetables in a purifying agent prior to their storage in the refrigerator.

Air Conditioning

All bedrooms have air conditioning.

Water

The estate has its own 30,000 gallon reservoir and purification system.

Electricity

All of the Villa’s electric plug receptacles are U.S. standard (AC 110-115) outlets.

The Library

The air-conditioned library has hundreds of books, a piano, house computer with free unlimited high speed internet access and DirecTV from the USA with hundreds of channels from which to choose. There is also wireless high speed internet access throughout most of the estate for those bringing laptops or other internet devices.

Additional Information

A comprehensive information pack, with answers to most questions from arriving guests, such as “what to wear,” “what to bring,” etc., will be sent to the guests 30 days prior to arrival. Villa Verano is walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and night life, and only 17 minutes from the airport. A rental car is not needed.

Rates

The Villa's rates are per bedroom, per night. Rates as of October 1, 2007*

  • June through October - $300/room*
  • (8 bedroom, 5 night minimum)
  • November through May - $410/room*
  • (8 bedroom, 5 night minimum)
  • Christmas / New Year's Week $495/room*
    (11 bedroom 7 night minimum)
  • For Thanksgiving there is a 10 bedroom, 7 night minimum.
  • *All rates are subject to 17% Mexican IVA Tax.
  • Check in time is after 3 PM, check out time is prior to 11 AM
